Season 9 Episodes 1 - 5 We didn't see much about Calzona with Jessica Capshaw being on maternity leave so I have not included it here. Season 9 Episode 6 -Second Opinion Here we saw Dr Miranda Bailey trick Arizona into coming to the hospital to help her with a case. This was a huge leap in Arizona's life having a prosthetic. Dr Bailey practically made Arizona so angry & eager about the case that she got up and walked with that prosthetic. Got to the hospital and dove right back in. Huge milestone in Calzona's lives. Callie witnessed this event without Arizona's knowledge and after displayed a smile of happiness, pride, relief, every emotion was reflected in that smile. Season 9 Episode 7 -I was made for lovin you Finally things look better for Callie and Arizona, they seemed as if nothing had changed in their lives. We have not yet seen how, why or when exactly Arizona forgave Callie. I am not sure if this will happen in Grey's Anatomy but it would make sense to flash back for us to see what made her forgive Callie, and if she understood that Callie did not have a choice, she would have died otherwise. In this episode we saw Arizona coming back to work. She got through her day okay until after the surgery she fell in the OR. Dr Karev asked everyone to leave. Instead of crying or being upset Arizona laughed and told Dr Karev that "I put all my weight on my left foot' She laughed some more then said "I don't have a left foot" paused for a while then said "and now I am on my ass" This was a true moment of bravery and acceptance from Arizona. Later at home when Callie got there and asked how her day was she said "I fell down" Callie said "What What happened" Arizona's reply was "I got back up" and that was that. Callie looked at Arizona in awe now knowing that she was going to be okay. Callie gave Arizona a hello kiss. Arizona had Sofia on her lap playing with her having a dance party. This again made Callie look at them with such love & happiness. Excellent episode for our most loved couple on Grey's Anatomy. Season 9 Episode 8 Love turns you upside down We didn't see much of them in this episode only a brief moment with Arizona with some seriously hot looking hair that made it okay not seeing her in the rest of the episode. Then Callie we saw but to do with the patients and interns. No profress for Calzona here. Season 9 Episode 9 Run Baby Run Oh yes excellent episode. In the first scene on their bed at home we see Arizona complaining that she can't wear high heel shoes to Bailey's wedding because of her prosthetic leg. Callie helps make Arizona feel better by telling her that she is so beautiful and then she kisses her on the cheek. The problem was that Callie was expecting more she was hoping that they could be intimate, we could tell this by the look on her face as Arizona lay down to sleep. The sexual frustration was evident. In scene two we finally see Callie put her foot down. Things finally come to a head. Arizona tells Callie that she has no idea. Callie stops her dead before she could continue talking and says "Oh my Trust me Trust me I am intimately familiar with what's going on and I'm over it. You are exactly the same person you were before just minus a leg. The discussion continue's one good thing Callie says is "There comes a point where you have to suck it up and stop whining and start living. .... more then "My whole life was about that damn leg I haven't had sex in five months because of that leg. Enough about the leg. That got Arizona's attention she looked at Callie in a way that she has not yet done. Like oh my God I never knew I was hurting you this much. Callie stopped talking realizing shit what have I just done. I shouldn't have said all those things. Arizona saw her pain finally more than she has before & put the shoe on. This made Callie smile. Suddenly she wasn't feeling bad about saying what she had said anymore. A huge breakthrough moment for Calzona The third scene we see them at the wedding sitting waiting for Bailey to arrive. Callie tells them that she may have done something bad and explains what she had told Bailey about she could run. She was having her own problems with her marriage. She says Bailey was extremely nervous. They both look absolutely stunning in those red dresses that it melts us to pieces. Season 9 Episode 10 Things we said today Scene 1 This is the most eagerly awaited episode of Season 9. Arizona asks Callie if she really told Bailey to run. Callie said yes but she did not really mean that Bailey should do that she was just being her funny self. Scene 2 Arizona told Callie that she has booked them a Hotel Room. Callie asked Arizona is she was tired, Arizona said no and showed Callie a face expression that could only mean the room was for sex. Scene 3 They arrived at the room only to realize that they were both very nervous. They kissed but as soon as Callie moved her hand to close to the prosthetic Arizona stopped and told Callie that she should take the leg off and hinted that Callie should wait in the bathroom. Arizona stated that she did not want her removal of the leg to ruin any of the sexy. Scene 4 Callie went to the bathroom and in all her excitement phoned Derick & told him that she was about to have sex for the first time in months. Callie looking in the mirror adjusted her nightgown downwards over her shoulder to look more sexy. When she came out of the bathroom she realized that Arizona was still fully dressed. Arizona then told Callie that she really wanted this but she was not ready and asked Callie not to be mad at her. Callie picked up the phone and ordered them some Champagne because she could never be mad at Arizona, she loves her too much. Scene 5 Here they are in the Hotel Room on the bed watching TV. Arizona asks Callie not to run. |
